Support an Indian Orphanage!

Nine months ago, I became aware of sixteen new hearts. These hearts belong to a man, his wife, his two children, and twelve young orphans residing in a rural orphanage in Tamil Nadu, India (not all are pictured above). Since becoming aware of each one of their lives, each one of their minds, and each one of their smiles, I have not been able to imagine my own life, my own mind, or my own smile without them.
Nine months ago, I didn't know how I could help to better each of their lives other than to simply tell them how much I loved them. God is so good, and I eventually became able to help relieve them of their orphanage's monthly rent payment. This is so wonderful, but I want to do more. Unfortunately, I cannot do it alone.
Raj, the man I referred to earlier (and pictured above), runs the orphanage and is constantly reaching out in any way he can to provide for each of the sweet children that live together in the JRDT orphanage. Recently, he has received an opportunity to inherit land--land that he will dedicate to the children and use to build a new orphanage that will provide a loving home for up to 80 children. That is almost seven times more than are currently supported!! What an amazing opportunity! The local Lions Club has agreed to help him build it, but there is one thing holding him back.
In order to inherit the land that has been passed down to him, Raj needs to pay for a registration fee to prepare the legal documents so that the acre of land can be in his name. Then it can begin serving as a new home for so many children in need.
I would like to humbly ask for your help. Raj and I need to find a way to raise $500 so that the local Lion's Club can begin the construction process on the new orphanage. Raj and I have talked daily for the past 270 days, and I have never met someone more determined to do God's work and give love to the people who need love most.
Now, I would like to push forward through this platform to continue to raise money to sustain the orphanage and the people that live there. This, for now, will be our main way of raising funds. If you'd like to stay updated, with what exactly funds are going towards, please do not hesitate to ask us any questions. Updates can also be read by following our blog: www.jrdtindia.wordpress.com. Currently, we'd like to begin collecting monthly child sponsorships, save for the new building construction costs, and purchase a better camera to document the daily life of our children. I have raised the goal to $1000 (which includes the $410/$500 that was so graciously raised previously). THANK YOU for your help & for spreading the word about these wonderful people!
I will continue to pay the monthly rent for the current JRDT orphanage, and I will always work towards providing each of the 12 beautiful hearts inside with a stable, comfortable, loving home. We now have an opportunity through this land to care for more children in the future, and we just can't pass it up. It would mean the world to me, and to all of us, if you feel it in your own heart to help us reach this goal.
