Bows for a Change

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Remie. I'm a 11 year old girl from Cincinnati Ohio. I love to play basketball and other sports.  A few of my close family members have had cancer, so I know patients don’t feel well and are usually tired.

I am making hair bows for sick children at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. My goal is to make them feel better, prettier, and normal. I want these girls to know that you should always believe in yourself. I know it would be hard for the sick girls, especially with no hair, to keep believing. I want the kids at Children's to feel pretty and know that people care. I know if I ever got cancer, it would mean a lot if someone tried to help me and make me feel better.

The funds will be used to buy nylon headbands.  It will also be used to buy the ribbon and bows so I can add embellishments to the headbands.
(All materials must be nylon so they can be frequently washed and gentle to the skin.)

I am anxious to begin work on my project so I'm looking forward to recieving the funds soon.

Thank you for considering my project.  I'm excited to make a small difference in the life of a young girl.
