Evergreen Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of K-12 science education,  increasing interest in science among a diverse population of students, creating a technologically-literate workforce and providing recognition for outstanding achievement by both students and teachers.

Evergreen Science is an independent homeschooled 6th-9th grade Science Olympiad team with an active parent base that serves as coaches for the 23 events in which our team members compete collaboratively.
We meet once a week as a team and multiple times throughout the week with individual event partners. Being a homeschooled team, we do not have the backing of a larger PTA or school activities fund to assist with the costs accrued to keep our team going strong. 

Our team has been competing in Science Olympiad for just three short years now and has had a quick rise in performance! In 2014, we qualified for state in our second year, and went on to place 6th in the State of Washington. At our regional competition this year, we qualified once again for the state competition with a 2nd place win, thus we have a real chance at qualifying to participate in the 2015 National Science Olympiad competition in Lincoln, Nebraska!

Please help us support the hard working students of Evergreen Science by considering a donation to our team! Your money could help us:

Compete at the Science Olympiad National Tournament in Lincoln, NE if we qualify at the state competition on April 18th,

Create a scholarship fund for future team members who may not be able to afford the costs of registration, supplies, and travel required to compete,

Expand our team to represent both middle school and high school levels of competition

Find a dedicated space to hold future meetings.

Offset the costs of the building materials, study materials, field trips, etc.
