TEAM ALEX and his Family

This is Alex. He is one of the strongest kids I know. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was just an infant. After hard times and many struggles this child beat the odds and survived cancer at an early age. But unfortunately now once again he has to face another battle. He was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in his face this year and has battled everyday. The doctors removed the tumor in his face and did a flap surgery to reconstruct his facial area.  This flap surgery failed and undertook many more to come to today. Alex has lost his eye and his teeth on his left side of his face. He will be fitted with a glass eye and dentures in months to come but both of these procedures are not covered under his insurance(costing $4000+) and has become a big expence on his family. Alex is scheduled to go to Florida for his chemo and radiation as soon as his body can heal from the previous surgeries. He and his family have dealt with numerous set backs but have an Awesome and Almighty God on their side that has carried them thus far. I ask that you give from your heart to help support and help take some of the stress and burden off of this family. At this time finances need to be last on their minds. Alex has been is Augusta with lots of travel on the family and with their upcoming Florida trip. Shonda and Llyod are Alex's parents and have not left his side. They also have 2 other children at home to take care of and allof this has been very hard on this family. They stand tall with God lifting them up. Alex has ambition and goals and everyday finds a way to smile and push through. So again I ask that we come together and continuously pray for this family and help in any way that you can.
