Hello everyone, my name is Selene. My journey with music started when me and my family moved to New Zealand. In school I discovered that I could play violin and cello, then with time I have discovered my voice.
I started my education in opera singing which was very wonderful, I loved being on stage, acting different roles, experiencing singing with instruments and orchestra. During my University studies I started to fall into severe depression, I worked so hard that my voice started hurting. After finishing three years of study in New Zealand I moved to Germany where I continued my study for another 3 years. As I started my study in Germany everything worked out wonderfully until I hit the wall of depression again, hard work and damage to my voice. I searched for help from different teachers and speech therapists who have supported me much in their best ways, but the vocal issues would keep coming back. I have managed to finish my Diploma but I could not go on with my music dream further on because my voice would start hurting as I would start to sing. So I stopped all together with a bitter pain that I will not be able to do singing anymore.
Over several years of silence and rest I have submerged myself in painting, which was a lovely replacement for singing. However with time I had lost my passion in absolutely everything, I had fallen into depression again and had no drive for life anymore.
On my 30th birthday I had a personal gift of panic attacks that had followed for several months with horror but eventually my road from depression had reversed, I have found my purpose in life again.
To fulfill my purpose I need your help. I started singing again, but this time not opera, I started singing my own creations of songs, new age meditation singing. My voice needs an instrument that will accompany and support it while I sing. This instrument is called "Crystal Singing Bowls" which is very expensive due to it's high quality make, one bowl costs between 900€ and 3000€.
My life goal after I receive the instrument will be to help others as others have helped me through my hard times. I will sing and play my instrument at the concerts that are open to anyone by donations and if one has no income they can come for free. I will offer others private healing sessions because singing bowls have magnificent healing frequencies for the body and spirit, those sessions will be also given by donations. I want to give this beautiful music for free to people in resting homes and to people who are in hospice living their last days in this world. This music will be given to children and any humans healthy or sick. I will also hold meditation sessions and group gatherings in nature that all of us can just relax to this beautiful life.
When all goes as planned in that direction I will start doing recordings and produce CD and also give music for free online.
