RESTORE THE SUR-TREK

Restoring a 1969 AMF SUR-TREK.  The SUR-TREK was an articulated 8 wheel drive vehicle  made by AMERICAN MACHINE AND FOUNDARY COMPANY. Only 300 of these machines were produced before the company sold out to another who ended production right after the sale. The job here is simple Restore the SUR-TREK to its  glory  which entails a lot of fiberglass , frame , and mechanical work. Basically we will do whatever is affordable I will be updating this page with pictures through the restoration process. and letting everyone know exactly where their donation is going towards.  Were trying to save a piece of history. When the project isa completed we would like to bring it to car shows and things of that nature to showcase a piece of AMERICAN history that would otherwise be lost to scrapyard somewhere.
