I made it! I am going to the World Dragon Boat Racing Championships 2015!
Hiii, I created this account to ask for financial support to help get me to the training camp in NYC and to the World Championships in Welland, Canada (8/11/15-8/24/15). I will be paddling for the U24 women's Team USA dragon boat team (24 years and under). None of the expenses are paid for, which is why I am asking for your support. I will need to budget for housing, food, vehicle transportation, flight tickets, etc. GoFundMe does take out a percentage of my fundraising, so if you'd rather send me the support via other means, message me :)

A little bit about me:
I started paddling 4 years ago for "fun", it was an escape route for me. But boy, little did I know how competitive I would become. I started paddling for the ASU collegiate team and was later recruited to paddle for the AZ Mutineers team. In addition to these teams, I also paddle with AZ SunGi (powerful, devoted women's team)...soon, I will be adding Gilas to my list. 2 years after starting my dragon boat hobby, I began paddling for Na Leo 'O Ke Kai Outrigger Canoe team.
Basically, I just love to paddle...oh, and the people are cool too ;)
But really, it's not just the love for the sport, but it's also the amazing people I've met and have come to know.
