Funding JP's children's ad litem

Donation protected
JP  had shared custody of his children with their mom and the Kidd lived with her in Tyler, Texas. In Jan of 2014 their mom had a mental issue and lost her share of custody to her own grandmother through the courts. Then the kids came to live with him full time. In June was to be the final decision of custody to go to JP (because the mom still had mental instability) but the great grandmother retained a lawyer and was filing for custody. The judge reset the hearing and told him to go get a lawyer and work it out between them. He had no money for a lawyer and was just going to go into court without one. Then the grsnd's lawyer contacted him with a custody order that she said was drawn up by the judge and that if he didn't sign it before court then at the hearing the judge would appoint and ad Litem for the kids and he would have to pay for all the attorneys' fees. He signed it. A few days before court he spoke to a lawyer and this lawyer said he would help JP fight the contract he signed. He took the case for a fee of $5000. In court July 8th the judge wasn't happy with JP so she appointed the ad Litem for the kids and gave primary custody to the great grandmother with him having secondary custody with visitation. The judge upheld the contract and signed it that July 31st. JP got his visitation with the kids in July and part of Aug. Then the great grandmother's lawyer contacted CPS and alleged he was touching his daughter. So then he had to sign a safety plan and have supervised visitation. After the investigation and forensic exam it was ruled out. The great grand and family refused to let him see the kids even after that. Then in December the judge got angry at them for letting an intern work with Abby for counseling and appointed a certified therapist. She ordered the therapist to meet with JP and the children for a few sessions and to return in January to see how things were progressing. The judge also ordered that he was to two hours supervised twice a month until the report from the therapist. He had one visit with the therapist and one with the supervisor and then the grandmother became non compliant and refused to bring the kids for their supervised visits. He went all of Jan and part of February without seeing them. The therapist called and had him come to her offence every two weeks for a visit with the kids. He was able to see them the rest of February and all of the March visits. Because the judge ordered him to pay for the ad LitemLitem he was unable to pay his lawyer. This lawyer had continued to represent him through the first case, the CPS case and now this CA's all for the original $5000. He is unable to pay him more because he is paying the loan for the $5000 st $100 a week and he is paying the ad Litem. To date he has paid her almost $7000 and this doesn't include the month of March which included a recent status hearing. The ad Litem and the therapist want the kids to be with JP but believes there needs to be a transition period and that Abby needs to continue in therapy ad she is very fragile and the projected time I'd at the end of summer which means legal fees will continue to mount up. He has to miss work for the hearings, for the therapy appointments and the visits because they are all over an hour away one way. Please, help in any amount that you can. If you live in the area please contact us through this site for any type of jobs. He has a full time job but is willing to work weekends and evenings. We are postingposting garage sale items on FB to help raise funds. Thank you from his family
