On Monday, March 16, 2015, Michael Orticelli was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in Mesa, Arizona, leaving behind his adoring children, Beckham and Reese. He also leaves behind countless devastated friends and family, with most of us still reeling from the shock, but trying to focus on the well-being and future of Beckham (10) and Reese (7). They have a long life ahead of them, and we need to think about how to ensure their support and care without the presence of their father. Unfortunately, Michael didn't have a life insurance policy, so we need to come together to provide a safety net for his children.
As you can imagine, this is a difficult time for Michael's children and we would like to support them in any way we can. I am setting up this fund to help alleviate financial stress so the family can focus on their grief and healing from the loss of such an important figure in their life. They miss daddy so much and have much to process. Please help us raise money to support the ongoing expenses related to the kids’ care, including before-and-after-school care, dance lessons, Little League, and Cub Scouts. Their mother, Traci, has to commit long days, 5 days a week and 1 weekend a month to her job. Typically, Michael would care for the kids on her drill weekends, in addition to his shared custody, but now, childcare will have to be arranged.
