Aid for Brit facing deportation

A Manchester man by the name of Carl Jordan is being threatened by the home office with deportation.
Carl's mother, who is a british national, was a 'G.I. Bride.' She went to the U.S.A. with her husband and they had a son, Carl. The marriage failed and 53 years ago she returned to the UK with her son, who was 3 at that time.
Carl went through the education system here, was given a national insurance number, worked and paid his taxes, married and has three children - the youngest of whom is 14yrs old.
He has a close relationship with his children, who are, in the least to say, devastated by this turn of events, especially his daughter, the youngest child. Carl's elderly Mother is also reliant upon him and would therefore be left without the help and care she currently gets from her Son.
Carl is local to the Haughton Green area of Tameside and the people of this close knit community are appalled by this immoral conduct of our Home Office.
This is a man who has contributed to our economy by paying his taxes and national insurance. And now they want to deport him to a foreign country where he doesn't know anybody. He has been told that he will be put in a halfway house initially!!!
Since Carl was arrested in early December, the Home Office instructed Carl that he could no longer work (a job he has had for many years) but as he was being treated as an illegal immigrant he could not claim any benefits. This has obviously been a huge strain on Carl and his family so any ammount you are abe to donate would be gratefully received.
