Push Ups to Feed the Hungry

In early September, Maria Tobar broke the world record for the most push ups with out leaving the push up plank position. The previous record 252 push ups and Maria broke it by doing 300 push ups! (https://recordsetter.com/world-record/consecutive-push-ups-female/38186)  This time she wants to break two world records, the record for the most push ups in an hour and the most push ups in 24 hours! This time she wants to breaks these with a casue.  On Novermber 26th she will begin to attempt both records which will take her to Thanksgiving morning and is asking for people to donate money for the Sacramento Food Bank. The record for the most in an hour is 1, 207 and the most in 24 hours is 9,241 push ups. Maria is asking if you'd join her by donating a dollar a push up 0r give what you can, $1,207, $12.07, $120.70 or $9,241, $9.24 or $92.41.

The holidays are a time when people come together with loved ones and eat with one another but there are many in Sacramento who are homeless, poor, and are not able to eat a great meal during the holiday season. As she attempts to break the record, Maria wants to bring attention to the needy in the Sacramento Area, would you join her as she attempts to break not only a world record but break the need of hunger in Sacramento!
