Hi I'm Gennaro and this is my story about what happened to my doggy prince who I grew up with and I consider my brother this is why Prince is so important to me my mother and I adopted him from the humane society when I was 11 and currently I'm 24 years old.

June 15th, 2017 is a date I will never forget, the day I almost lost my little brother Prince. I noticed his behavior was unusual. I couldn't contain my emotions, tears streamed down my face as a rain storm, mucus flowed through my nose as a river, my hands and body were shaky, and I felt I could not breathe. As I saw Prince running around the house in panic mode, trying to throw something up but nothing would come up, and crying in pain. I dropped to the floor to comfort my baby brother and held him in my arms, not knowing what the future held- but praying for the best.
 
Prince clearly was in extreme distress, I prayed to God and Jesus to give me the strength to pull myself together and take him directly to our local vet. 

Our local veterinarian informed us he needed to be rushed to the closest animal emergency room.  After x-rays, the ER doctor informed my mother and I prince was suffering from a life-threatening condition known as (GDV) Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus. Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV) is a rapidly progressive life-threatening condition of dogs. if left untreated he would have DIED a painful death in a matter of hours.

Thank God my mom was able to open a care credit account to finance the surgery so Prince would not have to die suffering from this painful disease.
