Sarge the "Baseball Cat" need our help!
Sarge was rescued from the Humane Society and brought to his new home at the Post 22 Baseball Facilities around 6 years ago. Always greeting fans in the stands and the ticket booth or keeping players company in their indoor workouts, Sarge has become a beloved member of the Post 22 baseball family!
In the past, Sarge has not needed any veterinary care aside from normal feline well-checks and vaccinations. However, Sarge has recently developed some medical issues that need to be addressed. After a few vet visits in the past 6 months, it has been determined that Sarge has a tumor in his mouth and needs to have surgery to remove it, along with a biopsy to determine if the tumor is benign or malignant.
We were informed by All Creatures Veterinary Hospital (where Sarge has received exceptional care) that this surgery will cost approximately $500 and possibly another $200 for teeth removal if necessary. In anticipation of incidentals, medicine, and further care, we are hoping to raise $1,500 to take care of Sarge's medical needs!
