Hi, I'm Linda. I'm a sweet gal who lives in Minnesota. I moved back to MN in 2012, after living most of my adult life in Indiana and DC. I moved home because I have a chronic illness (gastroparesis) which causes me to struggle with chronic nausea, vomiting and pain. (Imagine having the flu 24/7/365) One MAJOR issue that happens when you vomit frequently is the enamel on your teeth wears away....and mine is nearly gone.
After a weekend of fearing I may die, I went to an emergency dentist who informed me that in order to fix the problem, I'd need a root canal and a crown, to the tune of $3000. I just sat in the office and wept. Being on Social Security, I don't have that kind of money.... I just don't and I don't have the luxury of picking up some extra hours, to help defer the costs.
Through hard work and discipline, I have saved around $650 - which clearly won't cover the costs - but it's a start (And MAY pay for the root canal). It seems that every time I get some breathing room - something happens and BLAM! there goes my savings. I'm so overwhelmed and I need help. So, I'm being brave and asking my friends, family and strangers to help me out.... I just want to get this nightmare dealt with so I can get back to living my life.
Truly, I didn't think I'd make it through Friday night - the pain from the infected tooth was so horrible, that I was drenched in sweat, my lips were numb, my eyes hurt, I had the worst headache I've ever had in my life and throbbing in my face so much that it felt like someone was driving over my face - backing up and doing it again - over and over and over and over and over...
I'll be destashing jewelry parts in my destash group on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/groups/LindasDestash/ and hope to get that group back up and running by Thursday, in an auction style. So, if you'd rather purchase there - that'd be outstanding - as well.
