Speak@Ernie Pyle Memorial-Honolulu

The Ernie Pyle Legacy Foundation has organized a ceremony to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Pyle's death on April 18.  The ceremony, complete with military honors, will be held in Punchbowl Ceremony in Honolulu, adjacent to Pyle's grave.  A stone will be unveiled, honoring Pyle and the soldiers he wrote about.  I have been invited to give the commemorative address. I will also give addresses to two Rotary clubs in the Honolulu area.  These funds will support my airfare, hotel, and local transportation expenses.
