PL Tech Update for Hurting Youth
Technology advances makes today’s culture and society more connected than ever before. We truly see that “it’s a small world after all” – people from all over the world are at each other’s fingertips. We can interact, learn, and bond with people from all different cultures and walks of life without ever leaving our homes.
Today’s youth are a technological generation . Mental illness affects 1 in 4 Americans , and half of all lifetime cases of mental illnesses begin by age 14 . More than ever before, our youth and young adults are turning to the internet to find help , hope, and healing to combat the battles inside of them.
To address this reality, Please Live hopes to connect with youth where they are: online. We are looking to expand and upgrade our technology so that we can reach a hurting world that consists primarily on the internet and through social media.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 by December 31st 2015 which would be used to purchase and upgrade technology such as tablets, video conferencing software, and equipment used for the production of promotional and educational videos, photography, and more.

What if you don’t raise $10,000 by the due date?
• GoFundMe will send us whatever is raised and that money will be used towards our technology goal.
What exactly are you spending the money on?
• We would be happy to provide an exact list of our planned purchases and how we plan on using them to forward our cause. Simply contact us and we will provide this information to you.
Will we get updates on your goals?
• Yes! If you make a donation we will keep you in the loop as we update our technology and how it is making a lasting impact on youth and young adults.
Are there any incentives to giving?
• If you donate at least $20, you will be entered into a random drawing to win one of the following prizes:

• Any additional funds after the $10,000 will be dispersed throughout Please Live to fund our mission and other upcoming projects.
