Hi we have set up this page for our amazing brave mum .
You will have seen the story in the echo / mirror and also on Granada reports .
Our mums estranged husband was arrested for trying to strangle her. After years of abuse she called the police . He was given bail the next day not to come near our mum or her house , he didn't listen and he went out and bought an axe , ties and thinners . He broke Into the house and them began attacking her with the axe and a Stanley blade he cut at her throat , neck , head and chest fracturing her spine , skull and chest bone . He kept her there for up to 4 days tied and gagged while she was bleeding out , a lot more happened but these are the main points after fighting to stay alive he then set the house on fire , dropping her outside the hospital to walk in alone in the state she was in. The house is destroyed nothing left of it . The insurance esure won't pay out because it was in his name , another thing he controlled so now our poor mum has been left with nothing . She had over 100 stitches and is very very lucky to be alive . We just want her to get back to her happy self and we are asking for help to re build her life . We will be grateful for any donations , big or small it all adds up .
