Invest in Young Minds

I am coming up on my seventh year teaching at Rachel Freeman School of Engineering, a Title I school in an area that deals with challenges such as poverty other social issues that impact our learning environment.

Despite these obstacles, Rachel Freeman School of Engineering is a school where engineers are cultivated. Students are given a unique opportunity to experience real-world problem solving in a nurturing environment. Students learn to advocate and direct their education while being led by a dedicated, caring staff.

This year, I am thrilled to meet a new group of students! I am so excited to watch them grow and help them reach their full potential. 

With this in mind, I always need to upgrade, innovate, & expand my resources to keep my students engaged. I want them walking into a second grade room that looks and feels fresh. I want them to be excited about different books, games, and projects

Despite how generous our county commissioners and board of education have been, any donations that would help us go above and beyond are greatly appreciated.
