Photosynthesize Food Wheel Drive
Two California guys , Ben and Junior. We left California over a year and a half ago on a quest to explore and learn. Both of us are Chefs, each with over four years experience. Junior also majored in Baking & Pastry. After a year in New Zealand and turning to a Plant Based Diet, we are making our goal of a Food Truck into a reality.
The money is to support our Food Truck, Photosynthisize. We will be traveling down the East Coast of Australia, sharing our plant style cuisine with a Mexican twist. The idea is to give it for free and let the people pay as they feel. A concept we learned from Lentils as Anything in Melbourne.
The money will be used to buy food, supplies and help pay for the fuel as we are doing it as an Act of Kindness and want to reach out to people from all aspects. We want to be able to buy local food and organic if possible. The money can also help get us better equipment. We have been working the past 5 months in Darwin at times with two jobs, putting all our effort to this project. The funds will be appreciated now or later, we've costed out that we can last with our personal money for about a month or so.
This is a project we have been looking foward for quite some time. Its something unique and the food we cook is Food that we, as humans, are meant to be eating. Eating plants is great for the body and Earth. Many people would like to try this diet, but the options are limited and sometimes the food isn't prepared in such a good way. Us two want to give all that in one Taco. Mexican food is delicious and we make everything from scratch ourselves. From the tortillas and sauces, to the rice and beans. It can also open the minds of people who never thought that their eating habits are affecting the world tremendously. This is our way of saving the Earth, What's yours?
