PECAA Gives: Edna Karr High School
Donation protected

Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) is a national Doctor Alliance Group of independent eye care professionals. Each year we host our Annual Meeting in a different U.S. city, where a group of 400+ guests embark upon the sights, sounds and culture of the city we’re in.
The PECAA Gives program is an opportunity for us to give back to the communities we visit. This year, our meeting will be held May 18-20, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee, a city famous for its vibrant music scene. It has been nicknamed “Music City U.S.A.”
About the W.O. Smith Music School:
Since its founding in 1984, the school has gone on to teach music to children from low income families from all over the metropolitan Nashville area. It is ran by over 200 volunteer teachers who want to share their passion for music with kids in their community. Each child is provided with an instrument and any necessary musical materials for their studies.
Not only do the children get to bolster their passion for music, but they also thrive from the focused practice sessions and benefit from creating and achieving their goals. Since 1998, 100% of high school seniors that have attended the school have gone on to receive a high school diploma, with nearly 98% being accepted into a college program.
The W.O. Smith Music School transforms more than 650 students lives through music each year.
