PCCU to support Calhoun County K-9

Donation protected
For the second year in a row, Post Community Credit Union is pleased to announce that we are going to be raising funds to bring another K-9 into the Calhoun County community. Last year, Post Community Credit Union raised over $10,000 to replace a retired Battle Creek Police Department K-9. Through many different fundraising tactics and partnering with A Forever Recovery of Battle Creek we were able to bring the new K-9, ACE of the Battle Creek Police Department into action to serve and protect our community!

This year, we are going to be replacing a retiring K-9 named Zee at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s department. To make this happen for our community we will need to raise nearly $20,000. To begin the fundraising, we will have the community vote on the K-9 name again at all of our Post Community Credit Union branches. This goal will also be attained through community fundraising such as having Marshall and Penfield school students design t-shirts to sell, organizing a community 5-K dog walk, and much more.

Thank you for being a part of our fundraising and for supporting our community!
