Raising funds for Child’s Play Charity
Child's Play Charity was established in 2003 and supports hospitals and domestic violence centres by providing new video game consoles, peripherals, games, and more for hospitals and therapy facilities. These donations allow for children to enjoy age-appropriate entertainment, interact with their peers, friends, and family, and can provide vital distraction from an otherwise generally unpleasant experience.
As part of this, the Cookie Brigade was established to assist with raising funds for Child’s Play. We attend gaming and pop culture events and give out delicious cookies and treats to attendees and accept donations on behalf of Child’s Play. So far we have raised over $129,000!
How can you help?
Donate! Your donation will be used in the following ways:
Funds donated go towards the purchase of tubs of delicious Billy G’s Gourmet Cookie Dough. (http://www.billygcookiedough.com.au/)
We will bake them up, and distribute them at PAX Australia – one of the largest gaming pop culture events in Melbourne on Oct 31-Nov 2.
Each tub you help purchase ($16-$18) can end up being worth over $50 in donations to the charity!
