Save the Theater! Park Ave Cinemas

The Park Avenue Cinemas: A historic icon of Downtown Meadville since 1968 when it originally opened as a movie theater. In that time it was a small theater with only two screens, but later in 1985 it doubled in size to encompass a total of four movie screens. It has always been a place for families to come and enjoy time together at family-friendly prices!
In 2006, the theater closed, and was later reopened by the new manager. We just celebrated our 5th Anniversary under new management! Unfortunately the time has come that we must switch to digital projectors in order to stay in business with the new standards for movies, and this comes with a cost.
We’re looking to raise money for three new digital projectors, totaling $75,000 in expenses. Along with the new projectors, some money will be used in order to maintain the building in order to keep it as a family-friendly and affordable theater in Downtown Meadville. Help us keep this wonderful historic business alive by supporting us in our transition to digital equipment!
