Fanfan est un petit chat qui a traversé beaucoup d'épreuves ces derniers jours. Merci de lire ce qui suit et si vous le pouvez, toute donation est la bienvenue. Tout ce que je récolterai au-delà de la somme initiale sera reversé à des associations de défense animale.
Tout a commencé jeudi dernier par des vomissements - j'ai emmené Fanfan chez le vétérinaire qui lui a diagnostiqué une constipation, à priori rien de très grave. Mais quand son état général a empiré dans la journée qui a suivi, j'ai paniqué et j'ai de nouveau emmenée chez le véto où il a fallu lui administrer un lavement.
Mais les choses ont encore empiré - ma vétérinaire m'a appelée suite à la découverte d'un fil doré au fond de la gorge de Fanfan. Elle a insisté sur la gravité de la situation car s'il restait un morceau de fil dans l'estomac ou les intestins de Fanfan, ce dernier aurait pu causer des lesions très graves. La situation était grave, et à ce moment là, j'ai vraiment cru que j'allais perdre mon chat.
Je l'ai emmenée en urgence dans une autre clinique, où elle est arrivée en état de choc - elle était déshydratée, n'avait pas mangé depuis plusieurs jours et avait déjà subi une anesthésie et un lavement le matin-même. Elle a été prise en charge, et je l'ai quittée sans savoir si j'allais la revoir vivante un jour...
Le jour suivant, soulagement, elle s'en était sortie, et surtout, aucune trace de fil dans ses organes - mon chat allait vivre!
Malheureusement, un souffle au cœur et des calculs rénaux ont été découverts pendant l'intervention, et ce sont deux choses dont il faudra surveiller l'évolution une fois qu'elle sera remise sur pied.
Par conséquent, les frais vétérinaires sont très élevés et il m'est impossible de couvrir tous les frais dans l'immédiat. Les deux premières visites chez mon vétérinaire + son lavement + médicaments m'ont coûté près de 400€ tandis que ses trois jours à la clinique m'ont coûté près de 900€.
Toutes vos donations, de la plus petite à la plus grande, seront les bienvenues pour m'assurer que Fanfan vive encore longtemps et en bonne santé! :)

Fanfan is a lovely little cat from Paris who just went through a lot these past few days. Please take a moment to continue reading and to help out with whatever you can, it will be greatly appreciated. Anything raised beyond her medical needs will be donated to animal rescue efforts.
It all started last thursday morning, with my baby cat throwing up all over the place. After a first visit to the veterinary, the diagnosis was constipation, nothing too serious. But Fanfan's state deteriorated and I began panicking - I took her to the vet again, where she would go through enema to relieve her from constipation.
But things got even worse. The vet called me in the afternoon, telling me she'd found a golden thread in the back of Fanfan's throat and insisted that if more of it remained in her stomach or intestines, it could mean that internal organs were damaged. It could be very serious, and at that point, I thought that my cat would die.
I rushed her to another clinic, on my vets recommandation, and they took her in, in a severe state of shock - at that point she'd already been through one anesthesia, enema and she was completely dehydrated and hadn't eaten in days. I left my baby at the clinic, unsure about seeing her alive again.
The next day, I was relieved because she survived the surgery, and no remains of the golden thread was found in her body - my baby cat would live!
Unfortunately they found out she possibly had a cardiac dysfunction, and kidney stones - two things that we should look into when she'll be fit again.
Consequently the vet bills are quite expensive and I can't afford to pay them all by myself. The visits at my vet + her first surgery + meds cost me around 400€, while her time at the clinic + her second surgery cost me around 900€. I added 200€ more to the fundraiser to pay for the future expenses about her heart and kidney issues.
Please help me pay for those, so I can assure that Fanfan lives a long and healthy life. I am reaching out to every animal lover - help out with whatever you can, big or small. Thank you!
