My name is Craig Gross. I own Frankie's Patriot BBQ in Tarpon Springs, Florida. I named the restaurant after my son, CPL Frank R. Gross, KIA 16JULY2011 in Afghanistan.
For the past two years I have had numerous problems with our property that our landlord refuses to fix. So, I have not signed a new lease until he:
1.) Puts a new roof on the building as the roof is leaking very bad every time we have rain.
2.) Puts in a new AC/Heating system. Our dining room averages 87 degrees in the summer, and for the past two winters we have NO HEAT! We have to put space heaters in the building to keep it warm.
I cannot sign a new lease as the building is actually unsafe!
So, I have been notified by my landlord that he is going to evict me because I will not sign a new leas, and that means we will be out of the building in as little as 45 days.
I humbly ask for your help! I have spent thousands on this building trying to improve it and keep it open....and, I do not have the resources to up and move; it takes money to do that.....lots of money!
Actually, if every Veteran who reads this would give just $1.00......in no time we would be able to raise enough funds to move.
I have no other recourse than to ask my freinds to help me at this time.
