Isabelle's dream (SDR surgery USA)

Donation protected
Isabelle is one of a twin and they were  born at 27 weeks and spent 3 months in the NICU. We were told that Joshua had sustained extensive brain damage at birth and may never walk or talk. Thankfully Joshua has thrived and is doing really well. Isabelle seemed to be developing normally until around 15months when we realised she was unable to sit, crawl or pull herself to standing. We were given the diagnosis of spastic diplegia a form of cerebral palsy which affects balance and the legs.

She is now 6 years old and an amazing little girl. However, she can not walk independently, can't dress herself or do any of the things little girls love to do. This operation in America is called selective dorsal rhizotomy and would give her the chance to walk without any aids.,

She is an amazing little girl and never complains about all the things she can't do...as her mum it devastates me to watch all her friends achieve things easily that she struggles to do. This operation is her chance.....help us achieve "Isabelle's dream" of walking .
