We need your help to send 18 incredible students from Kunming, to Beijing.
On the outskirts of Kunming, far away from the city center, lie three elementary schools. Teach For China has been placed at each of these schools because they each have their own special needs. What they have most in common is that they have been left behind by the vast Chinese education system. One of our biggest goals is to help expand the horizons and opportunities of these children, many of which never leave their small local communities.
We want to give our children the chance of a life time, a trip to Beijing. Beijing holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the Chinese, and the opportunity to go is priceless. The magical city, filled with incredible history and culture, can become a reality in their minds with this trip.
For children who perhaps leave their small towns once a year, who believe that college is an impossibility, whose futures are strictly confined by their environment, travelling to Beijing would be the most special of chances.
They need your help to make this trip happen. Please help us reach our goal by May 30th.
