Our Name is NOT Their Game! The National Football League (NFL) has filed opposition to our trademark application for "Superb Owl" and we need your help.
We are The Night Run , Inc., a 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for other non-profits through running events. We have been using the 'Superb Owl' mark since 2012 in association with The Night Run® event which has a night owl theme and fun-loving owl mascot named Nite Al. We are all about community, kids, and getting fit! The Night Run celebrated its 30th year in May 2015.
In January of 2015, we debuted a new fundraiser race called Superb Owl Shuffle on the day of the "Big Game." This was a football themed 5K run that raised money for a local charity serving area youth. We created this as an alternative to anything "officially" NFL while maintaining a connection to a sport that many people love - but nobody owns!
