Adaptation for James

Hi there my name is James Rennie,
I am a ten year old boy born with a severe form of a rare disease called X-linked MTM1. When I was born my doctors told my parents to say goodbye to me because I would never be able to live any sort of "normal" life . They told them I would never be able to move , communicate, or survive  with or without assistance and my life expectancy at home was a few months  ...Well that was a while ago now and I can trace by myself, use sign and vocalize and with the help of my trusty machines I live quite happily at home with my mum , dad and our dogs Percy and Ella . 

   Because of my special needs mum stays home with me and does all my care while dad goes to work.  I have a room of my own with alot of cool stuff in it. We have been lent a lift so mum and the nurses can move me easier because I am a big boy now. However the lift takes up alot of floor space and does not work so well anymore. Since I am ten years old now  I needed a bigger bed and  there is not alot of space to move around in my room for me or my mum and dad. Mom tells me me she and daddy will give me their closet to make my room bigger for me which is very exciting!  Because I am getting so big my wheelchair is getting bigger every year . Its been a tight fit going in and out of the house but hopefully with your help,  the back door can be made bigger for me just like my room.
