Easter in the Park was founded in 2005 by Abounding Grace at Precita Park in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. What began as a small neighborhood Easter egg hunt, has now grown, to be one of San Francisco’s largest community events.
Abounding Grace, is a local church and nonprofit organization, with the goal of giving back to the community by providing fun activities for the entire family. During the event families enjoy an Easter egg hunt (with prized eggs), jumpers, carnival games, and music at no charge to the community. We are expecting to run between [phone redacted] kids plus their extended family this year!!
Abounding Grace and local businesses throughout San Francisco sponsor, Easter in the Park every year. However, our donations this year are short. An event this large, tends to run between $8,000-$10,000. The cost is made up of jumper rentals, 5000+ eggs (which are stuffed with candy and prizes), give aways (Safeway, Target, etc), fees, and tents to name a few. We are asking our extended community to contribute to this amazing event.
