Help Us Educate 53 Orphans in Uganda and Change Their Future

Hi, my name is Kelly, and thanks to your incredible support, we have successfully enrolled 53 orphaned children in Nabalanga Primary School in Uganda! This is a life-changing step, but our mission isn’t over—we need to keep them in school and continue improving their daily lives.

Why This Mission is Personal

Our mother was brought up in an orphanage, spending 18 years feeling unloved, unseen, and without hope. She was in and out of horrific foster care situations, never knowing what it felt like to have someone truly believe in her future.

We can’t change her past, but we can change the future for these children. Unlike our mother, they feel our love. They know we see them, care for them, and want to help them thrive.

Because the greatest gift is in giving—giving HOPE.

What We’ve Achieved So Far

Beyond education, we’ve already sent 5 barrels — 402 kilograms in total—filled with food, clothes, medicine, toys, sanitary pads, and cooking utensils. These supplies made it safely from my home to theirs, ensuring they have essentials to support their daily lives.

But we don’t want to stop there. We want to do more.

We’re working towards:

Continued education of all 53 children year after year

Buying bunk beds, mattresses, and sheets so they no longer have to sleep in over crowded conditions

Finding ways to transport water more easily from the well to the orphanage

Improving their overall living conditions so they can grow up in a safe, nurturing environment

The Cost of Education:

To keep all 53 children in school, covering tuition, meals, and essentials, we need:

£8,700 per term (approx. 39,750,000 UGX)

£164 per child per term (approx. 777,612 UGX)

£492 per child per year (approx. 2,332,838 UGX)
