Support the families of the martyrs

This fundraiser is for the families of the 21 Coptic Christians who lost their lives in Libya. Those brave men left their impoverished homes in a small village in Egypt in pursuit of work to support their families. When things got heated they made an attempt to leave Libya, but were sadly captured by barbarians whose acts shocked the world. They courageously died on that beach for their faith and for being a member of the "nation of the cross." Our hearts and prayers are with their families and the town of Al Aour, Egypt.

The money raised will be transferred to St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Kirkland. From there the money will be sent directly to Pope Tawadros and his holiness will ensure that the money is given to the families of the 21 martyrs.

The Christians who died leave behind wives and children that they supported with the money they made in Libya. One of the victims lived in a single room apartment with his family of five. It's our duty to make sure that those families now have the necessities they need to survive.
