Help me move to Los Angeles!

Hey there! My names Mandee and I currently live in Connecticut. I'm a Graphic Designer and Portrait Photographer who aspires to live in LA to pursue my dreams. I'm also Editor In Chief of Expression Magazine (www.facebook.com/expressionmag).
I've done quite a bit of work here in New England but I feel it is time for me to make a change. I have really tried to makes things work here. Time and time again the universe has made it clear that I can't continue being here. Last year was really rough for me. Lots of things went wrong every time I tried to better myself. School screwed me, jobs screwed me, people screwed me! I experienced going to court, a food bank, my grandmother passing away and my boyfriend of three years being forced to move back to CA. I have come to the conclusion that I cannot move forward being in this area.
I'm asking for money to pay to print out my portfolio and help pay for my plane ticket. I'm only asking for $500 because I don't want to come off like I want a handout. I am in desperate need of these two things to make this happen! A printed portfolio helps me with getting a job in my field and a plane ticket gets me there. Without these, I can't make this change.
I have quite a few opportunities for me in LA such as finishing my design internship and getting hired at Best Bride (www.bestbride.la ), applying for Studio Intern at Nasty Gal (www.nastygal.com), working with a few modeling agencies, showcasing my work at local galleries and more...
I am absolutely determined to make my dreams come true! Can't stop, won't stop.
