My name is Shirley Allen. 5 days ago, I was in a grocery store parking lot. Behind the store, I saw a crate that appeared out of place. Then I saw something move. Upon inspection of the crate I found this sweet bunny rabbit. He had 2 friends with him.
The bunny in the photo has splayed front legs. He does have limited use of his left front leg. The right front leg aims at the sky and is totally useless.
The white bunny in the crate has eye infections and a mite infection in his ears that is so severe, you cannot see his ear canals.
The black bunny in the crate has eye infections also.
All 3 of them need medical attention as soon as possible. I did not take them to our local shelter because they stated they would have to put them down because the possible illnesses were highly contagious.
I am on a fixed income and disabled, and cannot afford a veterinarian to treat the rabbits at this moment. I feel they have been severly neglected and abused. They have a right to be happy, healthy and loved. I will need a minimum of $500.00 to have them examined and treated. The vet said the bills may exceed the above amount, depending on what x-rays show on the brown bunny with the splayed legs. Surgery may be required.
I pray that the good people in this world can come together to help 3 innocent creatures of God who deserve a chance in life to be healthy and loved.
