Odyssey of the Mind team trip

We are a team of 5th graders from Hidden Forest Elementary who competed in the Odyssey of the Mind state competition in Texas on April 14, 2018.  We competed in the technical problem in which we were challenged to create three-dimensional emojis communicating the life story of a once famous, but now forgotten, emoji. We needed to create a performance where the emojis demonstrate special functions like growing, turning into a team member, and changing into a different emoji. We were also expected to include a technical element of building a robot. The added twist was that no spoken language was allowed.  We have worked together as a team for the past 8 months to perfect our solution.  We won 1st place at the Texas Odyssey of the Mind competition and advanced to the World Finals.  Please help make our trip to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals competition at Iowa State University possible by making a donation to support our team.  Monies donated will pay for room (dorm stay) and board and travel to Ames, Iowa, and will be withdrawn by Anna Tallent as the team treasurer with all funds going to the reimbursement of direct costs.   World Finals is May 23 - 27, 2018.  Thank you in advance!!!
