An Example where Healthcare FAILED  

     Ok, first off, this is NOT for me. I knew about the surgery and success of it all, and was happy for the results. Well, I just found out through this article what exactly happened and what they had to go through!

     This is in a word, horrendous. Why even BOTHER having healthcare if not a dollar of it was covered? Seriously. I can understand "Experimental". BUT there should be a caveat coverage based on "Out of scope procedures" with a cap limit (let's say 25,000). 

     Also, when they were considering options, they had received a Verbal OK from the insurance company to go ahead with the procedure. It was not until they spent the funds to purchase the tickets to fly out to Germany, when they retracted their agreement. I just wish they had a recording of that conversation or an email verification. 

     Considering how much the cost of healthcare is per year. This is not unreasonable. I would even acknowledge, that the procedure had to be signed by a Doctor, Verified, Authenticated, and reported back like any other process. To prove validity and prevent potential insurance risk.

     I will just uplink the article for you to decide. I set the amount to cover their cost. To have to refinance their mortgage just to stay healthy, is horrible. That is why I set the specific amount. Hopefully I can raise enough to help them through this. As you may know. Roofing is a very laborious job. So I wanted to help in any way I can.

You can imagine my surprise when I read this, what they had to go through. Think about your situation, and then having to go through this procedure, then to get a wakeup call that you had to foot THIS bill. Think how you would react? Wouldn't you want the same awareness?

I am not asking for much at all, I am hoping that It will be many people giving small amounts to help, vs a few big donations. A dollar amoung 90,000+ people is a lot easier on the wallet and not a heavy burden on most.

So I am hoping that others on here (and in the Deep Web, The Geek Community, Concerned Human's, Open thinkers, and anyone that may have had a medical issue or knows someone that has a medical issue) can help. In cases like this, I always think to myself, what if it was me. What could I do?
