Please help a Registered Nurse

Donation protected
After fixing our credit, saving money, and paying off stubborn debts we have finally been approved for a home loan! The only problem is we have student loans and I lost my job on Thanksgiving night due to a broken neck and two disc herniations years back. I could no longer deal with the pain I had to go through trying to work 10 hour shifts at Strong Memorial Hospital as a Pharmacy Technician. So now all our saved money is going to student loan payments. We now only have $1000 left from the 10k we had prior to losing my job. It's hard to save money for a down payment on a house when one person is able to work without awful pain. We are asking for any help that we can get from our family and friends. Any donation is appreciated!

Let me start off by giving you a very brief story of our history. Me (Daniel) and my fiancé (Christina) are 28 years old, we live in Rochester, NY and have been  together for 13 years! We have a handsome 11 year old son (Angel) that we love very much. Starting off having a child at 17 was rough but we fought tooth and nail to provide for him. My fiancé Christina Arenas, worked and finished high school while pregnant. I on the other hand dropped out of the 9th grade, earned my high school equivalency, started working at Wal-Mart and watched my son. After graduating from high school Christina took a couple fast food jobs and busted her butt to provide for us. She would walk, bus or catch a ride to work and never made any excuses. I would even take a bus downtown to meet her at 1am in the morning just so she got home safely every night. After feeling like our lives were going nowhere, we moved out of our parents house at 20 years old and Christina decided to attend Monroe Community College to earn her degree in Nursing. She was a full-time student during the day, a hard-working woman by the evening, and a studying machine at night. We barely made ends meet and times were rough but no matter what we stayed together! She is an amazing woman she did not run or curl into the fetal position when I broke my neck, had multiple neck surgeries and herniated discs. Nope! She stood up with a S on her chest and took care of me for about four years. (She still is by the way). I owe this woman everything and this is the only way I can help. By telling our story and hoping there are people just like Christina out there that will help her just like she has helped countless others.

Christina is now a Registered Nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital and taking care of people in need. I went to school and earned my Pharmacy Technician certification but my injuries made it difficult to even stand at my job let alone deal with all the walking. I ended up having to leave and I am now doing physical therapy at home and trying to shed weight to take pressure of my spine to hopefully allow me to get back to work.

Christina has no idea that I am doing this. She deserves a place of her own to call home. She has sacrificed so much to get where she is now. She helps take great care of people in and out of the hospital. At the drop of a hat she is always there for people who needed it and now I ask for your help to make one of her dreams come true by helping us becoming homeowners. Helping doesn't require a donation it could be as simple as spreading the word to others that are in position to do so. Even if it's a $1, $5, $10 or more it' adds up very quickly.

My family thanks you for your contribution in making one of our dreams a possible reality!

God Bless
