On Saturday, April 16th, Ecuador suffered the most devastating earthquake in more than 40'years. Entire cities have been wiped out.
An incredible mobilization of people within Ecuador and from different parts of the world have come together to support the relief efforts. In the midst of this terrible tragedy, you can see images of Supermarket shelves completely empty, not because there is a shortage but because the people have purchase all the non -perishable food and water available to donated for the cause. Truly remarkable how powerful human beings are and how much can be achieve when we work together from a place of authenticity!
It is from this place that a group of friends and I have joined forces to help raise funds to help fulfill some of the most urgent needs such as access to clean water and shelters.
After doing a great deal of research since Sunday and speaking with people in government and private sector, we decided that the most effective way to help right now is to coordinate assistance with the ROTARY CLUB INTERNATIONAL in Ecuador.
They are a trusted non-profit foundation led by people with proven track records. They are also among the first ones to send massive aid to the disaster area.
100% of proceeds will go to support efforts on the ground by the Rotary Club and its subsidiary in Ecuador to help the survivors of the earthquake with Water Filtration Systems, Shelter Box Housing and Medical Aid.

About this campaign:
We are from Guayaquil, Ecuador but we live in the US (New York and Nashville). Since we are far from our home country we decided this would be our opportunity to help them and give some hope!
My parents (Marissa's) have been working with Rotary International for years. Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated human rights purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.
Rotary Ecuador is focusing their service efforts in providing clean water, food and shelter boxes to our survivors of the earthquake.
Thanks for your support!
