We're trying to build a community outreach organization centered on promoting nerd culture, finding like-minded enthusiasts who share our passion for do-it-yourself projects, gaming, and tech is one of our main goals.
There's no shame in being a nerd and we want to show everyone all the amazing things we can do, but it's not just that! We want to teach. We want to inspire. We want to learn.
Our start up fund will cover all the costs of filling for a non-profit status and help cover our first years’ operating costs. Beyond that we want to offer classes, scholarships, and donations to local schools.
Through one of our events we raised $250 for Mount Si High School's Production Club.
It's been said that all work and no play makes for a dull day. So along with all the hard work we love to relax and have fun. We've hosted LAN parties with contests and prizes, we crash local game nights with our Artemis crew and Magic masters, and we explore our local communities for anything nerdy.
We've hosted several LAN Parties featuring games like League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike: GO, Age of Empires 2 HD, and Minecraft.
