Curtis Rust's Kidney/House Fund

Donation protected
I am starting this fund for my friend and a friend of many.....
I met Curtis Rust about 10 years ago when I moved to Hickman Nebraska. He lived across the street in the basement of his parents home.  He has a young daughter, her name is Juliana, and she quickly because best friends with my daughter Kallie.  They have been best friends ever since. Curtis has lived out in the Hickman area all his life and attended Norris High School.
Curtis has always had big dreams and has always wanted to move into his own home and have a place for him and his daugther he can call his own.  Due to all the challenges life has thrown at Curtis he has not been able to do this on his own.
About ten years ago Curtis had a heart attack and is now left with an enlarged heart condition. He takes daily medication for this.  He moved in with his parents after getting divorced and losing everything. He also moved in with them to help take care of his mom and dad and help them out with bills and their struggle.  Curtis's mom has polysistic kidney disease in which she had to have a transplant.  This has made it hard for her to get around.  Curtis's dad Less has retired from being a long-time mechanic and has a hard time getting around with his legs and feet, but Curtis has always been there helping take care of them.
About a year ago Curtis let us know that he has polysistic kidney disease as well and we have watched him go from a semi-healty guy into a weak, sick man.  Curtis's kidneys are only functioning at a small percentage.  Therefore, he has to be on dialysis.  Curtis works night shift at Madonna and then comes home and has to be hooked to a machine for 8 hours.  So this is just consuming his life.  Curtis needs a kidney transplant which he is working on doing, but I thought I would start this page in hopes that everyone that knows Curtis knows what a wonderful person he is and how much he does for everyone else. Everyone in Hickman pretty much knows Curtis and has become his friend.  I would like to see him have a transplant and not have to worry about medical bills. I would also like to get him some kind of a start because he has not been able to save money on his own due to all his medical bills to help if he makes it out of this to put down money on his own place to finally be able to start over with hopefully a new kidney and a place he can call his own for him and daughter.
