Sullivan's Wheelchair

I got a wonderful dog off of Craigslist. He has degenerative myelopathy and knuckles both front paws. To the extent that he has grown pads on the top of the first paw that went bad. He was taken to a vet by his old owner but was told that they would have to break the paw and cast it, however it would not guarantee fixing the problem. Degenerative myelopathy is a progressive disease of the spinal cord. In my research I have found that its not supposed to be painful. The problem is when he walks too much on his poor ankles he starts to wine, so I know he is in pain! Unfortunately I don't have the means to buy him a special wheelchair that he desperately needs! I am disabled with Fibromyalgia (chronic pain) and a slew of mental health problems. I have been trying to get on Social Security for around 4 years now and they have fought me every step of the way. I got this dog after years of wishing I had such an animal to sit with me to give me comfort for a therapy dog. Well I got a Chihuahua puppy and someone tried to steal him from my moms yard. He was too fast for them and got hit by a car I was so devastated. I still am in pain. But we found Sulley and he needed help just like I did so I couldn't help but give him a loving home. Now I just need a little help to get him what he needs to be happy and healthy. He is so good! All he wants is pets! I love him so much and glad he's apart of my family I just wish I had better means to take care of him. I have been looking to try to make him one but I'm not very MacGyver like.
