Youth Center and Studio

For the last 3 years, the audio/video studio facility sponsored by Christ Church - 16 Townline Rd. - Wolcott CT, has welcomed and mentored young people interested in learning about audio and video production. We offer the use of studio and equipment free of charge. Recently we moved to a new location that was less expensive to lease and had a larger space to offer, with hopes to expand our outreach and resources. In addition to the audio/video studio, we have converted the rest of the area into a youth center and hangout. This building will serve as a place to mentor youth and provide a safe, family friendly environment, for them to hang out and meet new people. All without a fee!

We are about one month from opening, but we are over budget and need some help financially getting the last bit of equipment to make the youth center and studio a reality.The soda fountain and coffee bar area need electrical and plumbing work, along with other items. In addition, we are looking to purchase a 60-65 inch flat screen tv and recreational items like table tennis and an air hocky table, to fill up our gaming area. Slighty used in -kind donations are also welcomed and accepted! We have received used and unwanted guitars and keyboards in the past, so check your attics and basements.

Recently I have set up a Go Fund Me account with a goal of raising $5000 to complete the studio and center. It is a slow process, but I believe that there are people that would like to help us see this vision come to fruition. Please pray about it and if you are able to contribute anything at all (from $5 ,$10, $25, to $50 and beyond) it would be greatly appreciated. Also if you have any creative fund raising ideas, please give me a hollar!
