Nick's Cancer Treatment Fund
My husband is my oldest friend. We were childhood neighbors that played together, watched cartoons together, napped together, colored, danced, and sang together... Today we have two beautiful daughters, Vada is two, and AbbiLee will be one at the end of January.
Nick was diagnosed with embryonal carcinoma, seminoma type B at the beginning of December, 2014 after having a tumor removed from his testicle. The cancer spread to the lynph nodes in his abdomen and stomach. A few months prior, Nick suffered a work related injury resulting in a torn ACL and MCL, which required reconstructive surgery and he is currently going thru physical therapy to regain strength in his leg.
He never complains. Ever.
It breaks my heart to watch him struggle for energy to play with his girls. It is hard to watch him lose weight. It is hard to hide how scared I am from our sweet little girls.
He is 30 years old and is enduring more pain than some people will ever in a lifetime.
Nick is having to undergo radiation treatment and although he does have health insurance, our family is about to get hammered with bills. The bills have already started to pile up, as if the situation itself isn't overwhelming enough.
The number of people that have reached out with kind words, positive energy, and prayers is truly beautiful.
Please help take the financial burden from Nick, he's going thru enough.
