Paying it Forward for Steve

Our big bear of a man, James Steve Bullard aka "SPANKY", has unfortunately succumbed to some serious health issues. While the outlook is good for him health wise we are having issues on the home front. After his brief visit at Stonecrest Hospital in Smyrna, Tennessee he has been moved to a rehabilitation facility in Nashville called Kindred Hospital.

During his time at Stonecrest it was found that he had pneumonia. Due to the already existing health conditions, Steve was in pretty bad shape. After weeks on a ventilator  wiht a trachea tube he now has a feeding tube.  Steve is currently unable to vocalize due to the surgery, which is reversible once the rehab is complete.

Meanwhile Steve's bills are piling up. Aside from the typical rent and electricity we are also to raise money to get the house handicap accessible before Steve returns home. Immediate needs are to have a ramp built but we'll also need to make improvements in the home.

Steve is an Army veteran. It is unfortunate that it has come to asking for help but we all have a chance to pay it forward. He served our country and now we can help him find comfort during his recovery. Any little thing helps.
