A family’s life is forever altered in a few seconds.
On Thursday morning, Bill Basler, a devoted husband and father to some of the most charming and wonderful children ever, was doing what most of us do. Driving to get to a work appointment with colleagues. A car crash on Interstate 80 that morning has taken this family to a place none of us ever want to experience. Bill is at UIHC, with multiple traumatic injuries after he was flown from the crash site.
Bill’s recovery will take months, perhaps longer. Bill and Michelle Basler are some of the most kind-hearted people one could ever encounter, always offering their home and their kindness to their friends and neighbors.
Let’s do our part to help however we can.
