New Horizons Mini-Triathlon

We are a local day centre in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan which provides all types of care for physically disabled adults.  New Horizons at Hen Goleg is a council-charity based centre and we regularly try to raise money to purchase enhanced equipment in order to give our clients the best possible care and support possible.

After the success of our Mini-Triathlon last year, we are broadening the scope and venturing further in terms of fundraising.  We swam, cycled, walked and ran a grand total of 576.66km, doubling our original target of 262km.  So this year, we want to go bigger and better.

With all types of disability contributing, we are aiming to cover the distance from Barry to Fecamp (France), our twin town.  This means 422 miles / 686km, more than we achieved last year, but this year we are even more determined to show that disability will not stop us from achieving.

We will accept every donation with sincerity, thanks and appreciation.  All money raised will be put right back into our little charity for the day centre where many local people attend for a piece of normality.
