REBUILD NEPAL - Earthquake Benefit

On April 25 and May 12 of 2015, Nepal suffered 2 devastating earthquakes that nearly leveled the country. More than 8,500 people were killed as a result of the 7.8 and 7.3 magnitude earthquakes that rocked central Nepal.

The quakes also injured many thousands more, and instantly made hundreds of thousands homeless. Among those were members of the Dhakal family in the small village of Pokhari-Chauri of roughly 120 people (15 families), about 120 miles east of the country's capital, Kathmandu.
Manabí Salsa Band wants to help in the effort to rebuild this village. All proceeds from this benefit will go directly to help the people of Pokhari-Chauri, the village in Nepal where Manabí member Rachael Dhakal's husband is from.
Please join us for an evening of live music at The Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant (Agave Room) to help heal this wounded nation of wonderful people.
