Needing a heater to stay warm

Hello, my name is Valerie and we are a three person household on one income. My son is the one in the picture. Here is our story. Back in 2014 we lost our furnace. We went through an entire winter with no heat. We saved up money, borrowed money, borrowed against our 401k and came up with over $7,000 to get heat and air installed.  I just found out the reason that my house gets so cold is because it is less efficient the colder it gets and completely stops working in zero degrees and under. Right now it is so cold in my house that it is miserable. We all have multiple layers of clothes on and several blankets and are still cold. I wish i would have known about the units limitations since we needed heat most of all. We were not told that the units stopped working completely in zero and under until later. Now yet again we have no heat when we really need it the most and sadly no way to afford it after scraping everything we could together. I have had to stay with family when it gets really cold or we have bad weather because I don't want our 5 year old to get cold. We need help to get a vented natural gas wall heater and the cost of installation. Every little bit would get us closer to our goal and would be very appreciated. We have had 300 people view our campaign and if every one of them had left just $5 we would have made it to our goal already! Every little bit truly counts.
