Need Help Stabilizing My Life

I am a fifty nine year old single parent of a thirteen year old son. Due to a series of events my financial situation became an extreme financial crisis.

It began with a mix up with my disability income. Which usually paid my rent directly to my landlord. My rent for August and September was not paid as it usually is and building management didn't notify me until late September.

They served me with eviction notice and a notice to appear at the rental tribunal today, October 12th.

The result of the hearing was my landlord refused to accept a payment plan and the Adjudicator has "reserved judgement" and I will be notified by mail of her decision

I also have been struggling to pay my monthly hydro bills and am now being threatened with disconnection.

To make matters even worse, I am currently awaiting surgery to remove my gall bladder and surgery on my left kidney. I was scheduled to see the surgeon today but had to reschedule due to the Rental Tribunal hearing.

I am beyond the end of my rope and I do not see any way of climbing out of this depressing hole I have fallen into.

I am normally able to pay all my bills and Iam not used to being in such dire straits .

I am very embarrassed to even have to ask for help.

If my landlord had informed me immediately of my rent not being paid I would have dealt with it immediately and would not be in this position.

I am praying that the Creator's will make a way for me to get my life back on track.

Otherwise my son and I will very soon be homeless and lose all our belongings
