About 1 year ago I was laid off from work. I've been trying my hardest to find a new job and get back into my career as a telecommunications technican, but the industry has been changing over to newer technologies such as Voice over IP (VOIP), Cisco, and other technologies to where I do not have the training and support I need to seek advancement in my career. And finding work nowadays is that employers in the telecom field are looking for people with that type of training in which I do not have.

My goal, which was reached to where I have now secured my WIA grant funding to go back to school at MicroTrain technologiesto recieve my CCNA ceritifications, has now evolved into where I need support to continue keeping my ability to survive. Due to the US government shutting down Unemployment Insurance Benefits, I am now broke and unable to support my two children, one of which is autistic with special needs.
